Ivocap Lower Removable Partial Denture

Mandibular / Lower Removable Partial Denture which was made for a 62 year old female patient. The denture was fabricated using the SR Ivocap System by Ivoclar Vivadent. Missing teeth are 36, 46, 47 and 48 Two-Digit Notation, lower left first molar, lower right first molar, lower right second molar and lower right third molar. Tooth number 48 was not restored.

  1. One problem with ivocap is that its color is not that stable. Patient recall after 6 to a year, its color turns into brownish.

  2. I agree with Prosthodontics. Another problem is sore spots. Its common with flexible framework in RPD.
