Tissue Supported Acrylic Denture is also commonly known as Gum Stripper. Tissue Supported Removable Partial Denture has been prescribed widely mainly because it is a Low Cost Prosthesis and easy to repair. When this type of denture is not maintained regularly, a problem arises. The Denture sinks into tissues as the underlying alveolar bone resorbs. This in turn strips the gingival tissues, leading to exposure of the underlying root surfaces. Tissue supported prosthesis especially in the lower jaw hastens the process of tooth loss.

Mandibular / Lower Removable Partial Denture which was made for a 62 year old female patient. The denture was fabricated using the SR Ivocap System by Ivoclar Vivadent. Missing teeth are 36, 46, 47 and 48 Two-Digit Notation, lower left first molar, lower right first molar, lower right second molar and lower right third molar. Tooth number 48 was not restored.

While tightening the abutment screw, correct position of the Dental Implant Angled Abutments for fixed partial denture is maintained by doing this procedure: A silicone putty index may be made from the master cast, placed palatally and grooved by a guide-pin, reduced in length to 2 threads and placed in the hole for the gold screw. Metal Ceramic Dental Bridge was made for a 22 year old male patient. Missing teeth are 11 and 21 FDI Two-Digit Notation or upper right central incisor and upper left central incisor. Tooth numbers 12 and 22 FDI (upper right lateral incisor and upper left lateral incisor) were prepared as abutments for the 4-unit Porcelain Fused to Metal Fixed Partial Denture.
