A Mandibular Removable Partial Denture with flexible framework was made for a 42 year old female patient. Missing teeth are 36, 37, 38, 46 and 48 FDI Two-Digit Notation, lower left first molar, second molar and third molar, lower right first molar and third molar.

Occlusal factors which are considered in Denture Construction:
Muscles
These are the drivers of the system and are what put it all in the motion. They include muscles of mastication and posture, and their adaptability.
Skeleton
Genetic and functional demands strongly affect occlusion. Consider deep Class II malocclusions with exaggerated Curves of Wilson and Curves of Spee.
Joints
Unique in that they function as a pair and dislocate during normal function. Capable of significant remodelling and susceptilble to damage.
Dentition
Dominates the entire system by establishing maximum intercuspation. Establishing a centric occlusion with no sloping interferences is the basis for long term stability.
Patient
Psychological aspects of patient’s expectations and perceptions will either nullify or exaggerate any of the other factors.
Rebasing refers to a process of refitting of a denture by the replacement of the entire denture base with new material without changing the occlusal relations of the teeth. In a rebase procedure, denture teeth may sometimes need to be replaced.

Alumina Fixed Partial Denture or all ceramic crown and bridge / restoration is significantly more esthetically pleasing than porcelain fused to metal (PFM) restorations. Gray line that is often visible under PFM crown and bridge is eliminated in all-ceramic restoration. All-ceramic substructure preserves the luminosity of the underlying remaining tooth resulting in more natural appearance, as compared to PFM crown and bridge.
Under very bright light, Porcelain Fused to Metal FPD shows shadow effect from the metal.
