Ivocap Upper Complete Denture

Maxillary / Upper Complete Denture which was made for a 74 year old male patient. The denture was fabricated using the SR Ivocap System by Ivoclar Vivadent. SR Ivocap is based on a special injection technique which produces highly accurate methyl methacrylate-based dentures. Compensation for chemical shrinkage is made possible by pressured feeding of additional material (inflowing material). This system can also be used in removable partial dentures, denture relines, orthodontic appliances and occlusal splints.

Fixed Partial Denture : Implant Angled Abutments

While tightening the abutment screw, correct position of the Dental Implant Angled Abutments for fixed partial denture is maintained by doing this procedure: A silicone putty index may be made from the master cast, placed palatally and grooved by a guide-pin, reduced in length to 2 threads and placed in the hole for the gold screw. This guide pin may then be used to support the abutment firmly in place while tightening the abutment screw.
