Lower Complete Denture
This is a Lower Complete Denture / Mandibular CD which was fabricated for a 83 year old male patient. The patient’s mandible is severely atrophic. Atrophic mandible presents problems of retention, phonetics, function and instability. An alterntive method of restoring atrophic mandible is by placing mini dental implants (Small Diameter Implants – SDI) to support the lower complete denture (implant overdenture).
